Welcome to our full service paddleboard adventure company! We offer Stand Up Paddle (SUP) Skills Training for all skill levels, SUP Yoga, Local Excursions, Sunset SUP Socials, stopping off at coffee shops and restaurants, local excursions within Hampton Roads, board rentals and our absolute favorite teenager adventure camp! We offer a Bring Your Own Board (BYOB) or Board Provided price for all classes and events.

Mad Science of Hampton Roads gets kids excited about science. From birthday parties and camps, to after-school programs and assemblies, we are committed to delivering unique, hands-on science experiences for kids ages 3-12. All of our programs happen at client locations including schools, libraries, and homes.

The Music Is My Passion Summer Camp focuses on S.T.E.A.M.M. programs that spark the most excitement - while also adding much-needed recreational time for fun & play. FloatLab Summer Camp (ages 12–16) lets campers design, build, and float-test their own 8-foot boat using real CAD/CAM tools and a CNC machine. This hands-on program explores computer-aided design, manufacturing, and marine architecture in a collaborative setting. No sailing included. NEW: Optional overnight aboard Battleship Wisconsin on the final Friday (included; family may join for a small fee). August 3–14. Registration NOW open!

Instructor-In-Training Sailing Camp (ages 14–17, sailing experience required) enrolls campers in the U.S. Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification course, taught by certified instructors. Includes safety, boat orientation, on-the-water instruction, classroom lessons, and test prep. Successful students earn U.S. Basic Keelboat certification and may volunteer/intern toward becoming instructors. June 29–July 31 | $525 Members / $575 Non-Members | 9AM–3PM. Optional Friday overnight included.

Maritime Explorers is a summer camp for ages 8–12, running June 29–August 14 at Nauticus! 

Campers explore the campus through hands-on STEM activities aboard Harbor 20 sailboats, the Schooner Virginia, the Battleship Wisconsin, and in our reimagined discovery center. 

NEW: An optional overnight aboard the Battleship Wisconsin on the final Friday is included; family may join for a small fee.

Sail Voyagers is a water-based summer camp for ages 11–14 (rising 6th–9th graders). Campers build advanced sailing skills while exploring the Elizabeth River and its tributaries aboard Harbor 20 sailboats, the Schooner Virginia, and other watercraft—discovering Norfolk and Portsmouth by water. With a 3:1 staff-to-student ratio, it’s a hands-on experience. Sailing experience or prior Maritime Explorers participation recommended.

The Hurrah Players Performing Arts & TV/Film Academies provide professional, hands-on training in theatre, acting, dance, and digital media production for students of all ages. Located in Norfolk’s NEON District, we empower young artists to build confidence, creativity, and real-world performance skills on stage and behind the camera.
